Stinking Snake!
I just finished a small but powerful book about talking to, hearing from and trusting God. It is written by Hamroz Drew, wife of Terry Drew, one of GCCC’s homegrown missionaries. Here is a quote from page 33:
"Those in third-world countries know very well what it means to have connections in high places. No connections [means] no jobs, no money, no success...nothing. I was nothing by the standards of my people, but I had the Highest Connection that a person could ever have."
The book is a composite of experiences when Hamroz had to hear from God then trust what “reality” said could NEVER happen.
Satan has no new schemes; he’s doing the same thing today that he did in the Garden—mixing truth with the lie and messing with our heads. When we give in, the immediate feelings of utopia finalizes in the Dark Kingdom of the Moors. That’s why there was a Tailor then and a Rescuer today. (Genesis 3)
