Three matters at hand: This weekend, Anniversary Weekend and Love, Lust and Lies.
Let’s start with Anniversary weekend. Next weekend, July 14-16 we celebrate 35 years of Prayer, Winning souls, Meeting Needs and Making Disciples as the Gloucester County Community Church. Please mark your calendar and join us. For more information on this event, click here.
Anniversary weekend looks something like this: Aaron Shust, known for such songs as “Your Praise Will Ever Be On My Lips and My Hope is in You will kick off our 35th anniversary Friday July 14th @ 7:30pm. On this weekend there is only one worship service, Sunday July 16 @ 9:15am—our theme: The WOW! of Tomorrow. Immediately following, the campus transforms into Summer Bash, featuring waterslides, face painting, trampolines…and much more, closing with an outdoor concert by Chapel Heights Music. (With the exception of pony rides and food, everything is free.) See you at the bash!
This weekend we adhere to the command of our Lord Jesus to “Look at the Birds.” There’s a WOW in that. J Justin Hellyer makes his pulpit debut. I’m sure he would appreciate your support and prayers. Actually, he preached his sermon in front of me—an audience of two (Jesus and me)—last night. You’ll love it! I did.
